Working with environments in the workspace

Once launched, an environment is accessed using Heropa’s web-based environment viewer called the workspace. In this article:

1. From the Left Navigation menu choose Environments, and then select the environment you wish to access. You will be redirected to the environment details page.
2. Click View workspace from the Top Navigation menu to access the environment. You will be redirected to a new browser tab with web-based access to the environment via HTTPS.

Pinning and unpinning VMs

VMs can be pinned to the top of the workspace, making them more accessible and easier to move between those VMs that you work with regularly.

Up to 4 VMs can be pinned along the top of the workspace panel, and remain pinned until they are unpinned.

• To pin a VM, in the workspace, select the VM then select 'Pin VM'. The VM name will appear at the top of the workspace and will have its own settings menu. 
• To unpin a VM, select Unpin VM from the VM's settings menu.

Accessing credentials

If external application credentials have been added to the environment, these will be accessible either via the Credentials button at the top of the workspace, or via the side panel.
