To make it easier to re-use content in different courses, environments, events and templates, Content can be exported from Heropa as a JSON file and then imported into other instances or regions of the Heropa platform.
Exporting content
- From the Left Navigation menu choose Content, to view the Content library.
- In the Content library, select the Export row action; OR Select the Content item to export, then select Export from the Top Navigation menu.
- This will download the content as a JSON file to your local computer.
Importing content
- From the Left Navigation menu choose Content, to view the Content library.
- From the Top Navigation menu, select Import.
- In the Import content window, complete the following information:
- Select file: Select the JSON file to upload as content.
- Name: Add the name of the content being imported.
- Select Create. Only JSON file formats from Heropa will be accepted.
If the content import is successful, the content will be added to the Content library with a status of draft, and visibility of private. These settings can then be modified by the content owner to make the content visible to other users.
