Only one user can edit content at any time, by checking out the content.
When content is checked out by a user, other users can continue to view the content, but can not make edits to it.
Check out content for editing

- From either the Content List screen or the Content Details screen, select Check out to check the content out for editing.
- In the modal that appears, select Confirm. This will complete the check out process.
- Make the required edits. To learn how to edit content, see: Creating content.
- Select Save.
Check in content after editing
- Once content edits have been saved, it's time to check in the content.
- From the Content Details screen, select Check in.
- This releases the content so that other users can now check it out for editing.
Override check out
If content is checked out to someone who is no longer editing it, there is also the ability to override the check out.
- From the Left Navigation menu choose Content, to view the Content library. From the Content list, locate the content that requires editing. If it is checked out to someone else, its status will be 'Checked out'.
- From either the Content List screen or the Content Details screen, select Override check out to override the other user's edits, and check the content out to yourself for editing.
- In the modal that appears, select Override check out. This will transfer the editing access from the original user to you.
- Make the required edits. To learn how to edit content, see: Creating content.
