Content can be added into the environment workspace.
The following content types can be included:
- Custom content or external content, created from within the Content module;
- A document / file or video
These selections are added from the Configuration tab of a course, environment or event.
In this article:
Adding content
- Open the course, environment or event, and select the Configuration tab.
- In the Content field, select the Content to be displayed in the Content panel of the workspace. To create content, see: Creating content. To import content, see: Exporting and importing content.
- Save your changes.
Adding a document
If Content is added, a document can also be added, to be displayed in the Content panel.
- Open the course, environment or event, and select the Configuration tab.
- Check that you have added Content.
- To add:
- A document, in the Download manual link field, insert the URL of the document you would like for users to be able to open from within the workspace.
- Save your changes.
Adding a video
A video can also be added. Once added, it can be accessed in the main panel of the workspace, via the button at the top left.
- Open the course, environment or event, and select the Configuration tab.
- In the Video section, add the URL of the video. This needs to be copied from supported video platforms, namely:
- YouTube: In YouTube, select the video then select Share / Embed. In the Embed Video window, copy the Embed URL. For example, https://www.youtube.com/embed/EoUi2DmAHIY.
- Wistia: In Wistia, select Share, then Embed. This automatically copies the link.
- Vimeo: In Vimeo, select Share, then copy the link.
- Once the link has been copied, paste it into the URL field.
- Enter the Button text to be displayed in the workspace for the video.
- Save your changes.
The video will now be accessible from the workspace.
