Adding Languages
Your Heropa tenancy is available in US English by default. Additional languages are available on request.
Languages are administered in Administration > Languages.
A default language must be set, and other languages can be enabled or disabled as required.
Customizing Languages
When a user is not logged in, the Login screen shows the default language.
Once logged in, if multiple languages are enabled, a user can set their default language via the globe icon in the Heropa portal or workspace. Their preference is retained.

Keyboard layout settings
Set a default keyboard layout
From the Administration > Settings > Configuration tab, Admins can configure a default keyboard layout for new users. We recommend that you set the default keyboard to Unicode (QWERTY), which should pick up most keyboards correctly.
Changing keyboard layout
Users can change their keyboard layout in the workspace as follows:
1. In the workspace, select the click gear icon at the top right of the screen
2. Select the desired language. Once selected, this is saved in the user's preferences.
For Windows VMs, logout and log back in for the change to take effect.
